Moti Dungri Temple
Moti Doongri temple in Jaipur is a popular tourist attraction. It is dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the elephant headed god. Hindus come to worship at this temple. For tourists, it offers a picturesque view of the city of Jaipur as well as of the neighbouring Moti Dungri Palace that is home to the Rajmata (Queen Mother) Maharani Gayatri Devi and her son.
There are other temples in the city as well, that are worthy of a trip. The Birla temple, Galta ji and Govind Deo Ji temples are the notable ones for their architecture and serenity.
The Moti Dungri temple lies higher on the hill above the Birla temple. Both the temples can be viewed in a single trip. Taxis, auto-rickshaws and cycle rickshaws all ply to this location.
