Galtaji Jaipur
Galtaji is a complex of several temples, situated on a lakeside at about ten kilometres distance from Jaipur on the Jaipur Agra highway near Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh. Famous for its natural water springs, Galtaji temple is a place of worship for Hindus and also attracts numerous tourists. The complex is set in the midst of beautiful green surroundings. Located on a higher rise, the temple complex has a breathtaking view of the peaceful environs.
The main temple is made of pink stone and has carved pillars, rounded domes and painted walls. A dip in the natural springs is considered holy, particularly on the day of Makar Sankranti. A Sun temple dedicated to the Sun God and Balaji temple in the same complex are also worthy of a visit.
