Crystal Gallery

The Crystal Gallery is located inside the Fateh Prakash Palace. More than 600 rare objects, ranging from lamps to washing bowls, perfume bottles, paperweights & writing instruments are all here. There is even a crystal bed, only one of its kind in the world.

The crystal gallery was inspired the F & C Osler showroom in Calcutta of the UK based company. The Maharana Sajjan Singhji ordered the objects in 1877 but did not live long enough to see them delivered. Among the priceless objects here, it has even a crystal studded carpet. None of the objects here have ever been used. The gallery was opened for public viewing in 1994. A visit to Udaipur is incomplete without a trip to the Crystal Gallery.
