Rajasthan has always been The Land of Adventurers. Blessed with the spirit of adventure, the braves of Rajasthan have pitted their wits against wild animals and hunting used to be a favourite sport here. Now, of course, hunting is banned. Polo is another well known contribution of Rajasthan to the world of sport. With its topography of sand dunes, mountains and rivers, Rajasthan is an exciting place to be for diverse sports like parasailing, hang-gliding, hot air ballooning, rock climbing and trekking and even water sports like sailing, rafting and angling.
Not just sports, thrill seekers of Royal Rajasthan had setup numerous green zones in the land naturally blessed with abundant wildlife. These have now been converted into several National Parks dotting the landscape of Rajasthan. Some of them are Desert National Park, Ranthambor and Sariska. Come face to face with Tigers and Leopards, enjoy a camel / horse safari or an elephant ride while living it up in a heritage hotel or camping out in the arms of nature. If tigers and leopards are not for you, you can even undertake bird watching in Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary or angling in the Chambal river.
