Rajasthan State Archives Bikaner
The Rajasthan State Archives in Bikaner has a very valuable collection of documents. These are administrative records of the Mughal period such as Persian Farmans, Nishans, Manshurs, Akbarat, Vakil Report, Arzdasht and Khatoot as well as documentation like Bahiat, Pattas, Parwanas, Rukkas and Chithiat that were used in the administration of the Princely states of Rajasthan. Of great interest to researchers from across the world, these documents are well preserved. The archives have facilities for microfilming, referencing and research. Tourists also find the guided exhibition quite interesting.
The Rajasthan State Archives are accessible from Monday to Saturday except on government holidays, from 10.30 AM to 4.30 PM.
